Infusionsoft vs Mailchimp – Full Comparison

Comparing Infusionsoft and Mailchimp is like comparing apples and oranges. They are two very different pieces of software. Both have their pros and cons though which will be covered ahead. If you need to automate your email marketing or business operations, it’d be wise to invest into solutions like these. It will save you time and energy while delivering better results. Who doesn’t want that?

Infusionsoft vs Mailchimp

I love Mailchimp. They’ve been my go-to email marketing service for more than a year at this point. They launched back in 2001 so the company has been around the block perfecting their product. Back in 2014, their users sent about 10 billion emails per month, I can only imagine what it is now.

Mailchimp is straight to the point. It’s a well rounded email marketing automation tool. That’s it. No extra features to confuse you. No hidden fees. If you’re looking to step up your email game, they are a great choice.

You can design beautiful and professional campaigns with their drag and drop email designer. Include content blocks, images, and even your own products to generate sales. Emails are optimized for mobile devices so don’t worry if your subscribers are on their phones because it will look perfect. Before you send out your newsletter, preview and test it to assure quality.

Mailchimp landing pageDid you know that 67% of shopping carts are abandoned before checkout? If you’re selling online, you need to have a strategy to win these customers back. Luckily with Mailchimp there’s automated reminders that can include custom messages and related products.

Need landing pages? No problem. Mailchimp has an easy to use landing page builder. It comes packed with great templates to speed up the process. You can showcase products, offer discounts, do giveaways and more.

Mailchimp reportingData is everything. Without it, you don’t know what to improve or keep doing. Mailchimp’s reporting tracks everything from open rates, click through rates, visitors to revenue and more. You will have a birds eye view on your email marketing results.

One part of their analytics that is awesome is the subscriber activity reports. They show you real time data on every subscriber you have and how they’ve responded to your campaign. You will also have access to opens by location, bounce information and printable reports. For an email marketing solution, Mailchimp easily has one of the best reporting system available.

Customer Service

This is an area that Mailchimp lacks in. You can’t contact them via phone, live chat or even email from what I know. They claim there is a contact form but I’ve yet to find it. They do have in-depth documentation though that should answer many of your questions. There are also guides, content from Mailchimp researchers and and experts section for hiring. Not bad but definitely weaker compared to most sites that offer phone, email, live chat, etc.
